this ball with the mono-eye was just something i sketched up one day and now have turned into gifs as well as paintings. it’s a cute little thing and has rooted connotations to both mythology but also cartoon art and graffiti. a heavy inspiration of mine is basquiat and you can see some of the multi layering and roughness in the background of the piece juxtaposed with the flat like quality to the front which was done using paint markers. reminds you of a basquiat and warhol collab.
